Risk reduction work for HLS covers a range of activities aimed at retiring technical uncertainty before it becomes a schedule or safety problem. My contributions centered on inducer waterflow testing and the modifications needed to the test stand to support it, in both a hands-on technical role and a leadership role coordinating the effort.
